When the First Minister has reached the decision to end the present lockdown at the right time based on the evidence re the R number being under 1 et al) as she has so rightly stated on many occasions. Maybe she could consider preparing , taking into account the consultation exercises with the public and info from other countries, a document as per the Republic of Ireland have produced entitled "Roadmap for the Reopening of Society and Business. - See Republic of Ireland Gov Website. Not the content or the dates per se but using the format and clear processes in the document with number of phases and dates as per the Scottish situation.
The associated graphic in tabular form is also a very helpful document ( Opening Phase)

Why the contribution is important

Giving the Public and Businesses- (all of us ) clear and as much as is possible specific information as the Scottish Gov have tried to do is so important. It will become all the more important in terms of the logistical and complexity of the phased approach to easing lock down develops. The processes and ideas laid out in the Irish Gov document could be of assistance in this task

    i totally agree with a staggered end to lockdown,people will be safer ,during this covid19 outbreak ,i have realised how selfish people actually are ,which while disappointing is also very dangerous to everybody ,blatently disregarding lockdown should have higher penalties hit them where it hurts in their pockets.

    We posted the same idea at the same time! It's got to be the way ahead or frustration and disobeying the regulations will take us backwards with the risk of a resurgence of the virus. I had in mind the Irish 'plan' when I posted but you have quite rightly referred to it. Come on Nicola, we all need a bit of hope and something to look forward to.

    It would really help to have a number of phases outlined. We understand that it may be necessary to revert to an earlier phase if the numbers begin rising.
