Why the contribution is important
Football is a huge part of society here in Scotland, by finishing the current SPL season behind closed doors and aired on TV would bring joy back to some challenging times.
While I think football will change for some time in the terraces I think special arrangements to keep it going in a new form would support mental health across the country.
I appreciate this is over-simplified, however I think the societal benefits out-weigh the challenges and the positive message alone would benefit the nation.
