PPE and Enhanced Hygeine in Workplaces Should Not be Optional

When workplaces reopen it should not be a "recommendation" or "suggestion" that companies enforce social distancing within premises or introduce enhanced cleaning techniques/use of PPE. These should all be mandatory requirements, as many businesses will not enforce these measures if given the option. Nobody should be made to go back to their place of work if they do not feel the conditions are safe. Also, where it is possible for employees to work from home then this should be a requirement.
Why the contribution is important
People need to feel safe going back to work without fear that the push to get the economy moving is coming before employee safety. Companies need strict guidelines that they must abide by so there is a countrywide standard for all workplaces going forward.
