Prioritise the economy

Easing of the lockdown should prioritise the economy. A gradual controlled lifting using all mitigating measures at our disposal, including masks, random testing, distancing where possible, and flexi-time start and end times. Keep the lockdown in place for social gatherings and activities for the foreseeable to see the impact. Customer facing businesses including cafes, large shops, restaurants, gyms will need to stay closed initially too.

Nobody is talking about it too much about it, but the economy is serious trouble and the cost to-date are staggering, and will cause problems for a long time to come. Not saying the lockdown wasn't necessary, but we now need to think about balancing the scales a little.
