Proper recognition for essential workers

Recognise the contribution of essential workers by paying them a proper wage, improving their working conditions and ensuring they have access to the right equipment to do their jobs safely.

We have seen, demonstrated clearly, who keeps the country going in a crisis. They should be paid adequately in recognition of their vital work, have access to the right equipment to do their jobs and the status of these jobs should be improved.
