Protect our care homes
Continue home working/furlough/financial assistance for family members of care workers so that they are not creating an additional risk by being forced back into work and therefore running the risk of infecting a care worker who might then take this into a care home which might otherwise be unaffected.
Why the contribution is important
The risk to care homes is clear and if 50% of care homes are not infected then we should do all we can to break the chain and limit the level of risk. Creating or maintaining this protection means we would be providing additional protection to the residents of these care homes and the care workers.
