Protecting school staff
I am concerned generally about how schools, even if running on a part time basis and therefore with less pupils attending at any one time, will not be able to operate safely. Maintaining social distance, eg, is just impossible.
Specifically, I am concerned that school staff will be very vulnerable. Not enough is known about children who may be asymptomatic but still spreading the virus.
A significant number of staff are aged 60+. Indeed, thanks to the government increasing the state pension age, some members of staff are 65+. I think it would be horrendous to require staff who are in a very vulnerable age group, to return to work in an environment where it will be nigh on impossible to maintain the safety measures required

Why the contribution is important
It's important to recognise the general difficulty of maintaining a safe environment within schools. Specifically, it is important to recognise the particular vulnerability of older members of school staff.
