Public toilets & spaces

When we move on from lockdown, I think there should be new standards for all toilets accessed by the public, and for employees to follow for staff.
As far as possible there should be a 'touch free' approach for doors (pull door to enter, push to exit), hands free flush toilets and automatic taps.
Employees to provide adequate amount to toilets per number of staff.

Why the contribution is important

To encourage better hygiene and reduce the spread of bacteria

Unless Covid and the risk of further cantagion disappears it does seem likely we'll need new design standards for public toilets etc. To avoid close physical proximity and aerosol transmission - how about individual cubicles opening directly to the outside ie no 'communal space'? Would also potentially pave the way towards removing the need for separate gender facilities and the associated costs and inequality of queuing).
