Re-opening of recycling centres (only if it can be done safely)
I have noticed a massive increase in fly-tipping in my local area. So many of the green areas that people use for their daily exercise have rubbish dumped on them now. I think this will be a combination of people being at home and having more time to clear out old stuff, and having nowhere to actually take it. The recycling bins on my street are overflowing as well (especially cardboard - I guess many more people are getting home deliveries now so there are more boxes to be thrown out?) Fortunately I have a garage where I can store rubbish in the meantime but most people living in flats aren't that lucky. These problems could be reduced if recycling centres were re-opened.
The first priority would be the safety of the workers, so I would only support this if appropriate measures could be put in place to protect the workers in the recycling centres.

Why the contribution is important
Re-opening recycling centres, if it is possible to do safely, could help reduce fly-tipping and over-flowing bins.

Recycling Centres have minimal contact between adults.
