Referendum on lockdown

This is too big a decision for scientists (who want to save as many lives as possible, no matter the peripheral damage) or politicians (who want to be re-elected). Why not have another referendum to let the people decide!

Why the contribution is important

We all have but one life. Surely we should have the right to decide to go out when we want to? We know the risks. Let us decide.

Agree Scotland should 100% be in charge if her own destiny. This pandemic should hopefully shows others how important it is that Scotland is independent.

I am not a fan of referendums, especially after Brexit!

You elected a government to make these types of decisions. Why not allow them to make those decisions based on the information they are likely to have available, vs the information you believe.

Could argue against referendums because there is an elected SNP..

Great idea, the people need to be consulted on this, it's OUR country and belongs to us NOT our politicians ! WE now know the risks. I would suggest the result of such a referendum would also not be in complete ignorance of the virus but to protect those most at risk and to let those wanting to live with the virus free to live as they so choose.
