I see no reason why golf courses should not reopen. They could initially reopen for members only, ensuring that clubs could control and monitor the social distancing measures required to keep golfers safe.
Golf is also a form of exercise where social distancing could easily be observed and with it being played outdoors it would boost the health and well-being of those who are playing.
The length of time the lockdown has currently been enforced, opening golf courses would also help the mental health of those who can play. First of all through playing and secondly take away the worry and concern of the vandalism which is currently occurring on some courses.
