Reopening some shops

Why dont small shops, and the bigger ones, move their counters to the door to block customers. And then serve them like our parents etc had to do, so no touching items unless you bought them. This could work in garden centres and hardware shops. But also in some of the smaller businesses like pet food suppliers etc. Ot would work for all non contact shopping like hobbycraft etc. The shops might need some more assistants but I am sure people would give up part of their furlough to be able to work. As an incentive people could get maybe an extra £20 a week from the furlough people.

Why the contribution is important

It is important to get the economy working again and people to go to work to stop some of this awful mental illness that seems to be hitting a few people
