Restricted number of people in supermarket

Last time I went for shopping there was no queue outside BUT it was so crowded inside that I had to leave straight away.

Why the contribution is important

The restrictions inside supermarkets must remain strict and controlled, especially to help vulnerable people or people with anxiety to shop.

Agree restricting the number of people in at one time must be maintained and those in the supermarket need to be more aware of social distancing .

Absolutely. Some are way too crowded and almost impossible to socially distance - even from the staff

Some supermarkets have introduced arrows to direct customers through the store in a one way system. This would certainly make it easier to maintain the 2 metre rule.

No. Open all shops etc. Supermarkets are simply using the crisis as an excuse to profiteer.

The problems with delivery slots are well published. Many stores already have, or have the space for 'Amazon lockers' or similar secure pickup facilities. Perhaps supermarkets could create 'secure lockers' where smaller volume shops could be 'picked, packed and lockered' for collection by customers outside the store.

This could only reduce queues and increase sales.
