Restricting to Health Board Areas

Might one way of minimising the spread of the virus (as a first tentative step towards easing lockdown) be, allowing people in the same household to travel by car, to do exercise, as long as physical distancing measures are observed while exercising.

Why the contribution is important

Exercise is good for our mental and physical health
This suggestion does not add to the risk of spreading the virus
This may be a way of reducing the frustration of being stuck inside
A change of scene also helps to reduce frustration and doing something which is more risky

This is a great idea. Folk in rural areas have harped on about the strain on their local services but if we’re all part of NHS Highland why not let us move within that area? Islanders will leave islands when lockdown is lifted and some people would visit the islands. Where is the evidence that any particular island would suddenly be busier and put more strain on local services?

For clarity, I didn't mean people from the mainland visiting the islands. The islands by the very nature of their geography, have a way of limiting the spread of the virus. So allowing access in and out of the islands has the potential to increase risk.

I think it would be good if we could move around within our local area for exercise. This would help mental health by giving people a little bit of variety. This would not include travel to islands.
