Resume routine dental appointments

Dentists could resume work wearing masks/face shields, with fewer patients initially, distanced in waiting rooms.

Why the contribution is important

To avoid worse issues later on and the service being overwhelmed.

Agree I lost a filling at start of lockdown and would like this repaired before any serious harm is done.
You are in a dentist chair for a short time and the dentist would be wearing masks

And if someone has any symptoms they cancel their appointment.

I’m desperate for dental appointment, I was caught in the middle of treatment and have temporary filing which was supposed to last a week. Still, I think it’s a bad idea. Dental treatments are generating a lot of aerosol which will be in the air after treatment is finished. This will be really risky for dentists, nurses and patients

No need for routine check-ups but alternatives to extraction must be provided for those requiring treatment.

We need to be able to help our patients. We have PPE and the training to be open.
