Retail

Retail businesses that have an online facility should not be allowed to open retail outlets to the public, other than essential businesses.

Allowing high street stores to open, even with social distancing measures in place, will cause an influx of shoppers to hit public transport and the high street.

This isn’t helpful at this time and severely risks the R number increasing and affecting our ability to beat Covid-19.

People before profits is important here.

This does not help when some companies either don't deliver to the Scottish Highlands or charge a huge fee to do so. I have had no end of trouble getting more dog food (our youngest dog cannot tolerate most types). If I could just go to Pets At Home in Inverness (even though it is 90 miles away), I would not have this problem. Also what about children's shoes - their feet need to be measured (again, another long trip).
