Reunite people in long distance relationships

Allow individuals in long distance relationships within the U.K. to reunite. Travel should be allowed while taking necessary precautions to reunite couples who have been separated due to lockdown.

Why the contribution is important

The impact on mental health of couples separated by hundreds of miles due to the lockdown has been huge. Not everyone has the option to isolate together or were able to make a quick decision to travel to the other end of the country before lockdown restrictions began. Allowing couples to make necessary travel to reunite with one another while still isolating from others would be hugely welcome.

My partner stays 29 miles away and it may not seem long but during this time it seems long distance. It makes me very anxious about when I will get to see him again and he is also very anxious and it is putting a strain on our relationship. We haven't seen each other since 23rd march and that's a very long time for a couple to be apart. If they are not in contact with anyone outwith their household then the couple should be allowed to meet for a walk or even spend a few days together as there is obviously travel involved.
