Review effectiveness of third sector in networking meaningful volunteering activity

Review third sector effectiveness and other related networks in networking and turning offers from volunteers into meaningful activity.

Why the contribution is important

The voluntary sector is being put under significant stress to help fill some important gaps. We have heard that there are a large number of offers from prospective volunteers but how can we be certain that these offers are being turned into effective activities?

Do the voluntary groups have sufficient financial resource and are they being managed effectively to deliver what they set out to do?

Could increased and better use be made of the volunteer sector to make a bigger and more wide-spread difference through difficult times?

We need some quick answers and learning to help the volunteer sector operate effectively.

I would like transparency on percentage of charity donations being used for "administration" during these times. I wonder how much covid grant/funding money is being handed out in wages within the charities.
