Riding Centres

Riding centres are largely out doors and social distancing is easily performed as the instructor is generally 10m away from those having lessons.

Why the contribution is important

These centres use the money earned during the summer months to see them through the winter months. Many riding centres are no eligible from the grants available. This leaves a funding gap and a potential welfare issue later in the year

This should also apply to riding instructors teaching private clients outside riding schools

Please please open the riding centres - 80 per cent of wages doesn't feed the horses and summer is when many make the money that see them through the winter. Social distancing is easy in a riding arena, we all wear gloves anyway and we can all be sensible about cleaning tack !
