River & Loch Fishing
Fresh water fishing should be allowed, its outdoors and safe. Normally when river or loch fishing you do so on your own . So no problem with social distancing. The only constraint might be access, how far your allowed to travel. I would suggest a drive of less than 1hr, for me its a 10min walk and its highly frustrating for me not being able to fish during the best part of the season with the river so close by.
Why the contribution is important
Fishing is the most popular sport within the U.K. with millions of participants. It’s great for mental health especially for the retired. There are also business which rely on anglers fishing.
