Safer Pavements

During lockdown easing, it would help social distancing if we make pavements effectively ‘One Way’. We’re used to ‘Keep Left’ when walking through stations, or on other walkways so we could suggest that you always walk on the left hand pavement, facing the way you’re going. Obviously, you’d need to cross to go into shops or other premises and that would require some walking from a safe crossing spot, but, on the whole, it would make keeping 2m apart easier. Think of Princes Street at Christmas, for example!!
