Same household bubble policy

I think a policy of same household with another household bubble should be used. Then if anyone within this bubble displays Covid 19 symptoms then they all self isolate 14 days until / unless results show negative for Covid .If you are willing to open up your risk/ bubble you should be allowed. The household could be within same area/ city only. As the English/ UK government are considering this Scottish government should consider aligning.

Why the contribution is important

This gives access to another household without having open policy of going where ever. It would help gradual change in movement without making a surge of everyone visiting who they please. Along with an app to show patterns and people with Covid 19 in the area this could help group people together to be more traceable and assist with mental health also . Without making a massive change to policy. As the English/UK government are considering this policy the Scottish government should do the same.

I think if this isn’t made then people will start to do it anyway and will be harder to control

All on board for a bubble system but it can't be limited to the same city/area if it's to work for most people. I wouldn't be able to see any of closest family or friends if this system applied. And I desparately want to see them to tell them we're expecting a baby! As long as people can make the journey by walking, cycling or driving without additional contact, distance should not be a feature. Sadly, as neither my father or anyone in my household drives and he lives too far to cycle I'm resigned to being unable to see him for some time to come.
