Seeing loved ones

I believe many are struggling at the moment not seeing loved ones such as family members and partners. Lockdown would be followed a lot easier and strictly if we are able to see just one or two people outside our household. Especially for individuals living alone or with parents they don’t get on well with. Ofcourse it would be hard to regulate but keeping our social bubble to being able to go to one more household to visit loved ones would massive improve moral and faith in the lockdown.

Why the contribution is important

The nations mental health is rapidly declining because of this lockdown and if nothing is done to help improve this I believe many will lose faith in the government and lose faith in lockdown itself. If we are able to see just one or two people out with our household, I believe moral will be massively improved and social distancing will be more feasible for longer.

This may seem a good idea on the surface and I certainly understand that restrictions are affecting everyone, especially not seeing loved ones. However I strongly believe that it's better to be safe and healthy at home than potentially spreading the virus to more people. It does no one any good to keep focussing on not being able to see our loved ones. Keep safe and keep alive is my motto.

I absolutely disagree with ' mariekilmarnock' . I am a very positive person, living in a one person household and I tell you being healthy includes mental health. Not being able to be with another human being, not getting hugs or doing mundane things with them - get's you down big time after now 8 weeks and it will not improve :( :( :( keeping being separated !!
It is absolutely important to being able to extend your personal bubble at least by one more household, especially when yo live by yourself, so we can keep being positive and are able to support all Covid measures.

I agree we should be able to see loved ones that are struggling with mental health issues, especially when u know they are not coping.
