Apply the segmenting and shielding approach proposed in the recent research paper from Edinburgh University. This would guide a proportionate and targeted response to the pandemic based on observation of relative vulnerabilities with the transmission of the virus and severity of response by different population groups.
Why the contribution is important
It provides an evidence based and proportionate response to managing our path out of lockdown which could reduce unnecessary and damaging consequences of prolonging universal lockdown.
