Self-assessment tool for checking that operational changes made are adequate

It would be helpful for organisations/businesses/charities to be provided with a standardised self assessment tool to help them assess their new working practices. This would ensure that the organisers/employers think of all the various aspects of safe working which need to be considered. They could then demonstrate that they were operating safely to give more confidence to the general public/employees as they open their businesses and restart activities. This would be applicable to a range of reacreational activities (e.g. sport, concerts, cinemas etc) and not just to places of work.

Why the contribution is important

Helps to ensure safety and build confidence in the 'new normal'.

This is a super suggestion and would encourage businesses and organisations to take a more proactive and responsible approach to easing their lockdown. If this were made public and searchable by employees, customers and members of the public, this would then enable people to make a more informed choice as to which business they will give their custom. The better and more transparent, effective and compliant the business is the more custom they will gain - this will raise the level of good practice rather than a race to the bottom.
