Allowing those in shielding some outdoor time without the fear of being contaminated with covid-19.

Even if you have a garden its not the same as going for a walk.

As someone who is shielding and who lives alone, it would make the world of difference to me if I was allowed to drive down to the beach, sit in the car and watch the calming sea ebbing and flowing, and do a bit of people watching from my car, to reassure me that I'm not the only person left in the world

I would love some outdoor time as someone shielding in a small flat.

My father in law is shielding and a short walk each day would be of significant benefit to his health and wellbeing. Whilst he can exercise at home, to be able to walk outside would help reverse his emotional decline.
