Shopping

Allow two family members to visit stores as often some stores have a 1 person policy. This will help people who feel or are vulnerable or disabled to have help. I have heard that carers have been stopped entering stores, this is crazy and must stop immediately.

Why the contribution is important

This allows vulnerable people the help they require.

I think that there needs to be more 'universality' in the way supermarkets decide who/ how many people are allowed in. Some supermarkets have guidance on which way to shop as in follow the yellow brick road, others don't. Within one supermarket chain in the local area, different policies are operating on how many people can come in the shop together, ie two people from the same household, one shop asks one of them to remain outside, the other doesn't and allows them in. It seems as though they've allowed the local managers to decide.

I also agree that there should be more 'universality' ^

Perhaps the government could give supermarket chains advice and guidance on a universal approach.
