Social bubble

Social bubble that a close group of family/friends can meet in a safe way even if social distancing is still in play, so people can have something to look forward to and to keep their mental health afloat

Why the contribution is important

To keep mental health afloat Makes us feel like some sense of normality where we can see our loved ones

I think people will quickly push the boundaries of this. If we can just wait another wee while we will have better opportunities to meet up with familie. Like others I have not visited my mum in nearly 8 weeks I am willing to wait to keep her safe.

Those of use who are low risk, strongly feel moves should be made to allow people to start re socialising and grandparents seeing grandchildren. The likelihood is covid isn’t going to completely disappear and not everyone would wish a vaccine even if one became available therefore we need to learn to live with it and be mindful of those who are at risk.

I agree with this, it will help people who live on their own and couples who don't live together. It will also help with mental health, there is a lot of people who aren't earning money at the moment and it may be a small thing visiting someone but to someone that could be a massive thing. This virus is going to be here a long time and we need to learn to adapt and live with it.
