Social bubbles
Allow people to form faithful social bubbles or groups of say 10 people. The group ( family plus friends) would agree who are the members of the group. Members would have to be infection free and not had close contact with a Covid 19 patient in the 14 days before the formation of the bubble. They would agree not to meet people outside of that 'bubble'. They could communicate with other people outside the 'bubble' but only if the two metre social distancing rue is observed.
Within the bubble members could meet within the two metre distance and could share hugs , kisses etc. Within the bubble ,meeting would be confined initially to people's homes and gardens. I think it would be difficult for 'bubbles' to meet in parks , beaches etc as the police would not know what was an official bubble and what was an illegal meeting. However if each bubble raised an official document provided by Scottish Government , said document could contain the name of the group and its members with photos. If said group was say having a picnic in a park or on a beach, each member would be obliged to carry a copy of this document probably on their smart phones and a proof of ID. This could be shown to police if questioned.
The group could even attend a restaurant so long as social distancing from other bubbles and people was observed. If going out , bubble members would be obliged to wash their hands on leaving their home , on arriving at say a restaurant , on leaving said restaurant and on returning home.
Why the contribution is important
This would ease the emotional trauma of social isolation , separation from family members and friends.
It could even permit restaurants to open up to social distanced groups , eg couples who are part of a group.
