Economically, we need to open, common sense dictates that numbers in deaths are not appropriately down yet. It looks like deaths are beginning to lower slightly but by opening the lockdown at this stage is just too soon. I realise how difficult it is for some people, but two or three more weeks in the grand scheme of things will not kill us, although the alternative might. We saw how people ignored lockdown in London parks, and how London numbers in Coronavirus went sky high. Scotland is too important to let this happen. Give it three more weeks to check numbers are down, see where these cases are before opening up to everyone.
Why the contribution is important
We don’t want a second wave before we have barely got rid of the first one.
