Stagger school holidays

For the next two years have school terms run with only a fortnight maximum gap between them, parents being able to choose when to remove their child for another fortnight on top of this, spread throughout the school year. This way parents' holidays would be staggered lessening numbers in a classroom at any one time. More teachers may needed as teachers could also choose when to take their agreed holiday provision.

Why the contribution is important

Children would be attending school more often than they do now and so have a greater potential to catch up with schooling which has been missed during the pandemic. Staggering the holidays of pupils within a class means less pupils within a room (even if only 15 pupils are making up a class), less pressure on working parents to take holidays during a prime and more expensive period and only take holidays when it suits them.
