Staggered release of lockdown
This virus isn’t going anywhere until there is a vaccine which could be still a long way away. We need to start a staggered release of lockdown now, starting with the people at the lowest risk. We need to have lots of testing and contact tracing but start letting people at low risk move about within their region and having contact with a few people.
Why the contribution is important
We don’t want a second wave of the virus to hit in winter when there could still be no vaccine and it could affect the population much worse. It’s better to get the low risk moving about sooner rather than later as we’re heading into summer. Staggering the release of lockdown will keep burden on the health services lower.
