Supermarkets , garden centres ,shops restaurants and bars/ cafe

Why don’t supermarkets garden centres etc sell certain products outside like they used to,
1. Fruit and veg can be sold in supermarkets under gazebos like market traders in their own car parks, customers get their fruit and veg(plants whilst they queue for entrance to the supermarket. This would allow more folk in
2. Market stalls in car parks at garden centres allowing folk to walk in a one way system to get products
3 bars and cafe allow eating drinking outside under canopies allowing social distancing.

Why the contribution is important

To keep businesses moving and getting folk to be responsible for their own self distancing

There is a definite unfairness if the large supermarkets which sell everything from pot plants to electrical goods as well as and including food are gaining an unfair competitive advantage over the smaller independents. Retailers should all be open as long as social distancing and PPE can be applied as necessary.
