Support for the transport industry to help sustain social distancing

The transport industry has said social distancing will be difficult as people go back to work and use public transport and that financially will no be sustainable for them.
The government is currently paying furlough payments, as people return to work and less furlough payments are made, would it be an idea to make those freed up funds available to the transport industry for a short time while social distancing is in place to help support them financially. This would help the transport industry and sustain social distancing.

It is of the utmost importance that we keep us social distancing as long as possible and we need to find way to make it easier for the public to do so, getting people back to work and therefore helping the economy and I feel the above idea could be one way of helping this along.
