Swap frontline NHS staff
Instead of swabbing over 70s patients every 4 days I think we should be swabbing the NHS frontline staff especially nurses and student nurses who are in close proximity to these patients on a daily basis. It’s not fair to be swabbing over 70s with such an aggressive test every 4 days when ur front line staff haven’t even been getting tested?
Why the contribution is important
Protects those working within the health care sector and ensures they do not bring the virus into the hospital or out of the hospital unknowingly. They visit an average of 30 patients in a ward daily and so if they have it and are assisting vulnerable people throughout the ward they are essentially carrying the virus throughout each room.
