Thus is essential for good mental health it’s such a worry our vulnerable people having to stay isolated for three months. Most of these people do not know how to use technology so can’t video call with family.

We all need antibody tests. But you are right, even though it is slightly less likely for the vulnerable in isolation to have developed antibodies, their need to get out of isolation is greater than the average person's need. But all of us have a right to know whether we are immune or not. Especially when we are required to comply with all sorts of rules for the foreseeable future.

I agree we all need to be able to access antibody tests whether we buy our own or they are supplied by government.

Agree that this is a great idea. If the antibody test shows that a shielded person has built up immunity then this could possibly help to take them out of the shielding programme

The UK is on the cusp of good antibody tests. Agree the vulnerable should be prioritised and those caring for them.

I am in the vulnerable group so have been in isolation for 7 weeks now. More than anything I would love to see my grandchildren as I have been involved in their care from the start. I am not sure however that prioritising vulnerable people is the right approach. If most have adhered to the guidance it is very unlikely any of us will have antibodies. How soul destroying to have a test that provides a potential road to freedom only to be told you are back in lockdown! Perhaps more important to test those on the 'outside world' so they can then visit us if they have antibodies.

As some one who is currently shielding it would be helpful to see if I had actually ever had the illness by being tested
