Testing by post for all
If it were possible to send everyone a DIY test kit, to be done at home on a particular day (ie so all of us doing it at the same time) with advice on strict isolation until test result 'clear' that could be the end of it.
Why the contribution is important
If doable could get us back to the point other countries ready for mass testing were at early on and maybe even put an end to Covid 19. Appreciate issues with logistics and compliance and accuracy - but if we could manage such a test it would surely massively reduce infection rates.

Self testing would be a potent weapon in a return to normality.
