The Footpath Code (for Social Distancing)
Encourage walkers / joggers / cyclist to "KEEP LEFT" for example, where a road or street has roadside paths in both directions. Also encourage them to circulate clockwise (like a roundabout) around features like road junctions, ponds, parks, etc. Faster walkers / joggers / cyclists should give ample warning (and distancing) when "overtaking" slower walkers / joggers /cyclists. (Add any other sensible rules to this "Footpath Code," and publicise widely).
Why the contribution is important
To make outdoor exercise safer, to encourage fitness, and to improve confidence for more people. To reduce car journeys and to take pressure off public transport.

People should adopt single file whenever others approach regardless of width of path as the 2m rule should be a minimum.
People should kill their speed when overtaking others.
