The Scottish government should stop pre-empting the UK government's response

The Scottish government should stop pre-empting the UK government's response. To me this seems more political than actually based on sound epidemiological studies.

Why the contribution is important

This is important because we need to be sure that the Scottish government are acting based on sound policy and not using this for political ends.

    I fear that we are pawn in a political game rather than the interests of the Scottish people being served

    Why? Many of us trust the Scottish Government more than the UK government at the present time - its a curious criticism to not want to be treated as the adults we are, and even more curious to think that the Scottish Government is political and Westminster is not.

    The Scottish Government’s own Covid 19 Advisory Board met on Monday and recommended that the lockdown now be eased for outdoor activities. The First Minister has repeatedly stated she will be guided by the scientists so why is she now choosing to ignore their advice?
