Think about childcare before opening up business
Please please please don't force working parents out of their jobs by saying to business it's ok to reopen before childcare is open.
Until you're opening childminders and private nurseries etc at least one parent will be kept away from the workforce. The financial.impacr of that is huge and it has a knock on effect to mental health.
Think about the bigger picture.

Why the contribution is important
Parents should not have to lose their jobs because they have kids to care for. If our employees want us back before childcare is open that's the reality for many and it's unfair. Especially when you consider *some* of the evidence regarding childcare setting and virus transmission

Nurseries for children not receiving the government entitlement of 16h free quite literally are providing a "babysitting service." They are not required to be there by law as school kids are and they are not receiving home learning like school kids are.
What "backup plans" do you expect parents to have when the childcare they replied upon before is now unavailable? Should parents of pre-school age children just quit their jobs and lose their homes??
