Trademen in House

Relax rules to allow tradesmen into houses to undertake works.

Why the contribution is important

This can be well managed with PPE, social distancing of 2 metres and keeping occupants in other rooms during the visit. At the same time there are many works required and would allow the economy and importantly small businesses to get back to work quickly.

Potentially could limit tradespeople to visiting only a small number of houses (1?) per day. More for external works.

Not for internal work - what if the Tradesperson is carrying the virus - this would involve having to deep clean everywhere the tradesperson has been. No thanks!
Maybe for external work - if there are more than one tradesperson this would involve them forming a 'bubble' in order to travel together in a van, this may then exclude them from forming a 'bubble' with family members. Difficult decision for them.
