Travel to be active
I'm fortunate, in so much as, I live in a quiet rural area in Lochaber. I can access woodlands and traffic free tracks to cycle and walk, following current guidelines. My whole life I've been active in the outdoors. I'd like to be able to travel out to the coast, with my sea kayak and paddle with friends who are in a similar situation. Can we get a test to confirm we are healthy, before setting out? We would be self-contained, with no need to mingle with strangers. A distance of say 50 miles from home would help. I believe this is being allowed in some European countries (France).
Why the contribution is important
Quality of life and meeting up with friends who have been in lock-down.

1. Get tested.
2. If clear of the virus, stay at home for a further 14 days.
3. Being tested and clear for 14 days gains an accredited medical virus travel in Scotland visa, issued by your doctor.
4. This visa allows you to travel in a bubble of friends with a similar visa in Scotland.
5. Car stickers/badges could be issued.
6. With the freedom to travel a little farther in Scotland, you need to be very responsible and not mix with people outside of your bubble. Take a lot of care with hand washing and personally I'd wear a mask. My activities in the outdoors are more easily controlled, as they involve remote camping. They also require the mountain rescue teams and RNLI to be in agreement
Not sure if this could work, but worth talking about. Be careful.
