Universalise shielding advice across Scotland

To make very clear who should and shouldn't be shielding at this time.

Ensure all health boards have the same information and the same guidance to be followed.

Why the contribution is important

There is no consistency in who should or shouldn't shield in Scotland. Guidance is available on the Scottish Government website and yet doctors are advising patients differently.

People in Glasgow with underlying health conditions on the same medication (with no other issues) being told different advice.

This is echoed elsewhere in the UK with people on the same medication only, ie. no other health conditions, being advised to socially distance rather than shield when someone in a different health board is being told to shield.

This could be putting vulnerable people at risk and so has to be addressed so that people on certain medications know what they can do for the best to help keep themselves, and others, safe.
