Allow University staff to return to campuses to allow them to prepare online content and access University resources. Students would not be allowed to return at this time, and social distancing would be far easier to enforce with only staff on site.

Having this time free of face to face student interaction will allow educators time to prepare support material.

It will allow for higher quality online educational material to be developed if the shutdown has to continue into the next teaching year. This in turn will alleviate the extended teaching burden on staff when classes have to be taught multiple times due to reduced capacity caused by social distancing. The improved online material will free up staff to help with the additional teaching burden.
