Close boarders. If England are looking to relax measures first they should not be allowed to come in/out unless essential. Completely pointless Scotland continuing if results could be ruined by others.

Full lock down for another 3 weeks with stricter measures. Allowing this time to contact trace and isolate those in possible connection.

Allow family/friends to socially distance within there own gardens.

Do not re open schools/colleges until august

Larger cafes reopen with social distancing measures in place.

Outdoor sports open (those than can be distanced)

Pubs open that have outdoor areas at first allowing social distancing.

Children’s play parks should be re-opened with the correct social distancing measures.

Masks in public to be made essential not ‘advised’

Why the contribution is important

1) if allowing those from England into Scotland this would result in our lock down measures being a waste of time.

2.) we are not yet at the stage to relax any measures. By adding 2/3 weeks it allows contact tracing to take full effect meaning when measures are relaxed its essentially a bit safer.

3) many people are going to dismiss restrictions if they have to go any longer without family or friends. Most of the public isn’t stupid and will safely distance from family and friends if being allowed to do so. This will also help those struggling with mental health and improve the minds of children possibly being able to interact with more than those in the family home.

4) most parents won’t allow there kids to go to school any time soon. They would need to be convinced lock down measures are working. This will ensure children’s education is being kept up at home as if the parents weren’t to send there kids this would result in no work being sent home.

    I expect these various ideas are pretty close to where we are going gradually, but I think masks should just be for shops and public transport and will need encouragement.

    Having read all this again, I don't agree with the idea that people coming here from outwith Scotland necessarily pose a risk. The virus is here already so we have to continue to suppress and then contain it.
