Visiting of Family/Friends in Local Authority Area

Enable a small group of people (<4/5) to visit their family in their local council area. They should be free of symptoms and not in the shielded category. Apply social distancing measures where appropriate and reasonable.

Why the contribution is important

To help mental health and to socialise with those we have not been able to see for these weeks in lockdown.

Agree but you should be able to visit the next area, particularly where you live on the boundary of two areas.

Travel distance is more relevant than local area. Two family members could live 30 minutes apart in same area or in different areas. Family and travel distance is more relevant.
