Voluntary tax bracket

Those who are in employment and earn over £30,000 can voluntarily increase tax by 1,2,3% etc, to increase the Scottish budget to help economy restart.

Why the contribution is important

The finances are dwindling and this would help the Scottish economy without burdening lower incomes. Everyone in this crisis so more uptake of voluntary tax increases

A far easier way to do that would be to tax the Millionaires more and make it illegal to be a billionaire! No-one needs a billion pounds, even if they had 50 children!

That's fine if your single or there is more than one income but if it's the only one & totally financially supporting another adult such as wife/husband/parner & also children it's £30,000 isn't that much.

People can already choose to pay more tax than they are legally required to. All they have to do is send a cheque to HMRC.

Em why would we do this? It’s just going to impact on our ability to pay mortgages, childcare, loans etc that are based on our income levels.
