We HATE the SNP

It is completely ridiculous the Scottish Gov aren't working properly with Westminster so the WHOLE UK follows the same guidelines. It is misleading and unfair for us to be held back just to polish the SNP's egos. I trust Boris to look after Scotland. Sturgeon should take a back seat and let us be unified in this.

Why the contribution is important

Because it is widespread sentiment in our local town that we are being penalised for the SNP being anti-Conservative, and using this as a way to push us apart from the UK.

    Agreed.
The best way the the FM can look after Scotland is actually to work with the rest of the UK and stop her silly political games.

I don't hate anybody but agree the Scottish Government should work with the UK government.
The full island has to be the same.

I think you misunderstand, this website is to gather ideas for how we proceed with Covid-19, not a website to rant about politics.

I do not trust Boris to look after Scotland. Already made horrendous mistakes in this pandemic. I am not an SNP supporter but would trust FM and Scottish parliament to do what best for Scotland. If that differs from UK that is fine with me

Scotland's path through this crisis so far has been different to that of much of England. Health and education are devolved matters and as such it is the First Minister's responsibility to decide what is best in Scotland. As I understand it, there is a lot of discussion between the different nations and much of what is decided will be the same - just not everything.

Some countries are more cautious than others - as some people are. We just need to look at the decisions made across the world to see this.

As an Englishman living in Scotland, I would just say the FM is at least showing her humanity during the crisis, and Dominic Cummings who controls Bojo's approach has disappeared, not that he has ever been answerable to the UK public. Surely you don't need to be a rocket scientist to see that the UK response lead by the PM is more questionable than the FM. The pandemic is not a political issue like Brexit or trade deals with the USA, but a humanitarian health issue, I for one would prefer a human with the ability for expressing emotions to deal with it rather than a profit lead approach. And for those who are confused about what is acceptable in Scotland opposed to England, I would suggest you look at the names of each place and then check your post code...
