Why do we have bank holidays?
Why do we have Bank holidays and not say a Farmer's holiday or a Carer's holiday, why are Banks so special that they get a holiday named after them?
To help get the economy back on its feet again, I recommend that the Bank holidays are scrapped immediately. The growth/ profit that could be generated by millions of people working during those days would go a a small way to re-building the Treasury for the financial help and costs incurred during the Covid-19 crisis.

Why the contribution is important
The Covid-19 crisis has cost the Treasury £billions and we need to start making some changes to help build up funds for the future.
