A blanket ban on angling - especially game fishing - is totally illogical, given that chain stores such as B&Q selling non-essential goods are allowed to open with a minimum two metres separation zone.
If two anglers came as close to each as two metres on the riverbank words would be spoken!
As for airlines still carrying passengers breathing in each other’s recirculated exhalations . . . .
There is no reason whatsoever why angling cannot be allowed to resume.

It is important that some common sense is applied to any restrictions on freedom of choice at this time.
